Key facts of violation
As the official agent for the electoral campaign of Evan Hindle, a People's Party of Canada candidate in the electoral district of Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Island and Rideau Lakes during the 43rd federal general election held on October 21, 2019, Mark Bradley was required, under subsection 477.59(1) of the Act, to provide the Candidate's Electoral Campaign Return (Return) to the Chief Electoral Officer, outlining the financing and expenses for the candidate's electoral campaign. The deadline to submit the Return was February 21, 2020.
Elections Canada's records show that, as of October 25, 2021, the Return has still not been submitted to the Chief Electoral Officer.
There are therefore reasonable grounds to believe that Mark Bradley is in violation of the requirement to provide the Return, as required by subsection 477.59(1) of the Act.
